1. Purpose
These Terms of Use ("ToU") govern access to and use of the MacedFileConvert online service (the "Service"), which allows the conversion, compression and processing of files. By using the Service, you accept these ToU without reservation.
2. Service description
The Service offers conversion tools (image, audio, video, documents, ebooks, archives, fonts), PDF tools and artificial intelligence functions (OCR, translation, summary, transcription). Certain features are reserved for paid plans (see Pricing and the Terms of Sale).
3. Access and account
- The Service is accessible without an account within the limit of a daily free quota.
- Creating an account gives access to an expanded quota and to processing history. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- You undertake to provide accurate information when signing up.
- The Service is intended for people aged at least 15. Minors must have the authorization of their legal representative.
4. Acceptable use
You undertake not to use the Service to:
- process unlawful or infringing content, or content that violates the rights of third parties;
- circumvent quotas, disrupt or attempt to compromise the Service;
- any use contrary to the law or to these ToU.
Any breach may result in the suspension or deletion of the account, without prejudice to possible legal action.
5. Files and confidentiality
The files you upload are processed to carry out the requested operation, then automatically deleted at the end of a retention period. The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
You warrant that you hold all the necessary rights over the files you upload (copyright, related rights, etc.) and are solely responsible for their content. The editor acts as a technical host: it exercises no prior control over the files and removes them promptly upon notification of any manifestly unlawful content (contact: contact@macedfileconvert.com).
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights over your files. The Service, its brand, its interface and its code remain the exclusive property of the editor.
7. Availability and liability
The Service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The editor cannot be held liable for data loss, indirect damages or the use you make of the converted files. It is your responsibility to keep a copy of your original files.
8. Termination
You can close your account at any time. The editor may suspend access in the event of a breach of these ToU.
9. Modification of the ToU
These ToU may be updated. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of your use of the Service.
10. Governing law
These ToU are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts; the consumer may, at their choice, bring the matter before the court of their place of residence, subject to the protective provisions applicable to them.
